Super Tuesday and more ...
Tuesday 15 August 2017
It's another Super Tuesday! That's the day which usually offers the biggest number of shows starting their runs in London. And today we added some new festival listings, 8 new show listings as well as a new event.

You might be surprised to know that Tuesday each week generally sees the biggest number of shows starting their runs at London theatres.
Sometimes our records throw up over 20 new shows starting, but August tends to be a bit quieter since a lot of people are up in Edinburgh, so openings are rather reduced.
Today, there are 10 new shows on offer from theatres such as the King's Head Theatre, Tristan Bates, the White Bear and The Space among others.
You can check-out all the shows starting today - and in the next 7 days - on this page.
The Camden Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe may still be underway, but that doesn't stop new festivals appearing on the horizon.
Today, we added two new ones:
Now 18 from the Yard Theatre in Hackney, an annual festival of new performance over 5 weeks starting on 15 January 2018.
We added a new event: 'Xmas Factor: All Stars' from Iris Theatre which will be staged on 1 December 2017 at St Paul's Church in Covent Garden.
Review tonight - Olympilads at Theatre N16
Peter's heading down to Balham tonight to review Andrew Maddock's play.
We're a little later reviewing this show as we had another review on the same night as the Olympilads press night last week.
Other shows we're reviewing later this week are:
The Odyssey at the Scoop (Friday 18th), and
Sophie at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre (Sunday 20th)
Flash sale on tickets for Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill
Playing at Wyndhams Theatre, you can save up to 32% on tickets for this show, starring Audra McDonald.
But you'll need to hurry as the special offer ends this Wednesday.
Hamlet to be broadcast on BBC next year
Robert Icke's critically acclaimed West End production of Hamlet with Andrew Scott in the lead is to get an airing next year on BBC Two - see the full article here.
Reviews for The Majority at the National Theatre
Apart from a couple of 4 star ratings from Broadway World and LondonTheatre.co.uk, the other critics who aren't in Edinburgh right now gave the show an almost universal 3 star rating from our (rather fast) check of the reviews.
Plays until 28 August in the Dorfman Theatre.
Enjoy the rest of this Super Tuesday!
