About this event

Chair of Wilton's The Beautiful Word Capital Campaign and BAFTA award-winning actor David Suchet, will be holding An Evening with David Suchet, where he discusses with journalist and author Geoffrey Wansell the skill and craft of bringing the infamous Poirot to life.

David filmed his final scene as Hercule Poirot in 2013 after 25 years in the role.

He played the character in every story that Agatha Christie wrote about the detective bar one, which was deemed unfilmable.

The proceeds from the event will go towards supporting The Beautiful Word - Wilton's new capital campaign.

An Evening with David Suchet will see the private launch of Wilton's campaign to raise at least £750,000 towards The Beautiful Word campaign; if successful the project will enrich audience comfort, improving the acoustics and the auditorium seating at Wilton's.
