Film - London West End - Musicals - Shows

It's all happening for 'Everybody's Talking About Jamie' with a film in the pipeline, a cinema screening due in July and also a lengthy extension announced for the West End musical.


Things seem to be going even better for West End musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie ...


Run extension


First up, the show got an extension today, so it's now booking not merely right through this year, but well into next.


If you still haven't seen it, the show is now taking bookings until 6 April 2019!

In cinemas too ...


For those who live outside London and can't get to see the show in the West End, never fear.


The show is to be broadcast live by satellite from London's Apollo Theatre to cinemas across the UK, Ireland and selected European territories on Thursday 6 July 2018 - find your nearest cinema and book tickets here.

The award-winning feel-good hit musical has also released an official West End cast recording.


CDs can be purchased via Amazon, and digital downloads are available on iTunes and Spotify.


Film version


And finally ... the show is heading for the big screen again, this time in a major film version by Sheffield based production company Warp Films, known for its distinctive multi-award winning film and television.


The film will be developed in conjunction with Film4 and will be directed by Jonathan Butterell, written by Tom MacRae with music by Dan Gillespie Sells.


Filming is expected to start in Spring 2019.

Synopsis

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield.
