Tickets are now on sale for the West End transfer of the Almeida Theatre's production of The Twilight Zone.

After a rapturously received, sell-out run at the Almeida, the show will be at the Ambassador's Theatre from 4 March to 1 June 2019.

Adapted by Anne Washburn and directed by Richard Jones, The Twilight Zone weaves together several episodes from Rod Serling's wildly popular science-fiction anthology series from the 1960s into one creepy, sweeping narrative, and it is the first time the series has been seen on stage.

The Twilight Zone is considered as the seminal American sci-fi series, with a number of episodes making their mark in television history as pop culture icons.

The series draws comparisons to the modern Channel 4/Netflix series Black Mirror: each episode posed moral questions through a series of eerie, often shocking narratives which almost always contained a stunning twist.

This adaptation by Anne Washburn, who wrote freaky Simpsons-based play Mr Burns which ran at the Almeida, premiered in November 2017.

You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind.

A journey into a wondrous land of imagination.

Next stop, the Twilight Zone …

Hailed as "a treat from far beyond" (Evening Standard), this "whirling paranormal kaleidoscope" (The Guardian) leads you on a chilling journey into the unknown, through eight stories set where the extraordinary is ordinary, the impossible probable, and where you're never entirely sure what's real and what's your imagination.

But don't worry.

Your imagination can't hurt you … can it?
