Authors, playwrights & plays - Competitions

The winning plays of the British Theatre Challenge 2015 playwriting competition are due to be presented on 23 and 24 October 2015 at the Lost Theatre.

The British Theatre Challenge is an annual international playwriting competition, now in its 4th year.


It's run by Sky Blue Theatre Company.


The winners of the 2015 competition have been announced and over two nights, the short plays will be given full performance while Mini Mammoth Films will capture the event for its evaluation and further promotion as well as go on to develop one of the winning plays as a film short.


Performances will be at The Lost Theatre on the following dates ...

The Adulterer and Mr Mole by Pete Barrett

Perfect by Frank Canino

In addition, the next competition is about to get started - submissions of new plays can be made from 25 October 2015 - so it's time to get writing!
