Background

First performed at the National Theatre in September 1998, the Telegraph described the play as "affectionate, richly funny and hugely touching".

Synopsis

Filming can be a bit of a miserable affair if your caravan leaks, your co-star's a manic depressive, and those younger women aren't so young anymore.

In the great Carry On tradition stalwarts Sid James, Barbara Windsor and Kenneth Williams cavort, feud and pontificate as they take refuge in Sid's caravan.

There's no beating about the bush here - this is a world where breasts are amusing and no innuendo is left unexplored.
