"In February my cousin died in a plane crash.
I flew to the funeral.
My plane stopped working mid-flight.
This is a true story by Connie Wookey.
She lived in America for five years chasing an acting dream.
She worked as a waitress, bartender, receptionist, temp, and/or babysitter between gigs like many creatives have to.
A near-fatal plane accident in Canada (ironically on the way to her cousin's funeral who died in a plane crash) made her realise the importance of her family, question her responses to incessant everyday harassment, and asses how she might change this, for herself and maybe also for those around her.
She moved back to London and made a show about it.
Join her as she navigates her way through inappropriate men and deals with trauma on her trusty child's keyboard.
