Synopsis

Blackheath Halls Opera's intergenerational company and Trinity Laban students will work with professional opera singers, including German mezzosoprano Idunnu Münch who makes her London debut as Dido and baritone Marcus Farnsworth as the Trojan hero Aeneas in this thrilling and unique production of Henry Purcell's classic opera.

'A highly imaginative and wonderfully organised production - I was particularly moved and impressed by involvement of a cast of such a diverse range of ages and abilities.' (Feedback from 2017's opera Der Freischütz).
