Synopsis

Eventide is a tragi-comic story of three people whose worlds are changing and they're caught between the old and the new.

Joke teller and landlord John is forced do what he said he never would - sell up to a brewery chain.

Cheerful but loveless Liz plays organ for the local church but knows herself it's a dying trade.

And odd job man Mark does what he can for work whilst grieving over the tragic death of a girl he liked at school.

Behind the back of The White Horse Inn, in a village in Hampshire, they drink and chat and joke - about a ferret that can perform miracles for single men; that smoking is really all about sex; and the true value of being an alcoholic is that you can at least put your finger on exactly what your problem is.

Has it all been missed chances and disappearing dreams for this trio?

Or will the seeds of change bring new opportunities their way?
