Synopsis

H2BAT is a naturalistic sci-fi set in a future 80 years now.

Think Wes Anderson meets Blade Runner with similar relationship dynamics found in Battlestar Galactica.

Our story follows ... May, a social worker with a missing father, John, a video game designer and cheese aficionado, Salene, a robot with an affinity for plants, and Miyaka, a narcissistic possibly sociopathic "doctor" prepared to throw herself into the core of the earth to get what she wants.

What happens when these characters cross paths?

Strange love triangles, cheese deals gone wrong, and robotic transplants … among other things.

H2BAT asks questions about how the integration of advanced technology and artificial intelligence will affect our planet, but the heart of the play explores the future of us; human beings who will always long for connection, intimacy, and friendship, even when the earth is falling apart.
