A land-worker divides his land between his three daughters after losing his wife.
LEAR follows the breakdown of his relationships with these daughters and other friends, and the loss of his home, due to his grief and his own battle with mental health.
We also follow the parallel story of Edgar, a man forced into homelessness by the betrayal of his brother by the manipulation of their father, taking on 'homeless' and 'mad' behaviours in order to fit the expectations of others.
Using puppetry, physical theatre and live soundscapes, this is King Lear in a modern world with issues and humour for a modern audience.
