Background

Macbeth is a timely reminder of the destruction that can result from the quest for power, and an examination of the evil forces that can take root in the imagination of a tyrant.

The flickering candlelight of the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse provides the perfect setting for Shakespeare's unsettling variation on the theme of the Faustian pact.

Part of Ambitious Fiends.

Synopsis
