Synopsis

Ruislip Dramatic Society invites you to this hilarious "Meet the Parents" style dinner party from hell.

Julie-Ann and Justin are about to announce their engagement during a special meal with both sets of parents.

But then a gangster's moll and former lap-dancer: Paige Petite, and her highly strung gun-toting minder quite literally drop in from upstairs!

Add to this the arrival of Justin's upper crust alcoholic mother from Surrey, and Julie-Ann's prim and highly prejudiced parents from Yorkshire and you have all the ingredients for this wonderfully funny Alan Ayckbourn comedy.

2019 is Alan Ayckbourn's 80th birthday year and the 60th anniversary of his playwriting debut.

RolePlay shows him at his very best with wonderfully funny orchestrated mayhem alongside subtle insights into family relationships and class distinctions.
