What Was Left plays in rep with The Sandman.
"Kids like us, with good parents … they never become heroes."
For siblings Soph, Sim & Dex their house was always busy, like - really busy.
But then their parents went off and left them to fend for themselves.
And their beloved Gran died.
And they're not sure where the dog is.
They're in charge. Kind of.
Orbiting the edge of adulthood, Soph, Sim & Dex are clutching at milestones, each have ideas about what they should be doing now, and how they want to live.
They have the freedom to do it their way. Don't they?
What Was Left explores how we choose to survive in unknown territory, what we want versus what we can have, and how we're meant to keep it together when the world around us is falling apart.
A searingly vivid new play about love, loss and the blood ties that bind us.
