Continuing its series of 'In Conversation With …' events, Omnibus in Clapham have Alison Steadman OBE next in their line-up to talk about her career and personal experiences.
BAFTA and Olivier Award-winning actor, Alison Steadman is perhaps best known as Beverly, the Demis-Roussos loving hostess of Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party.
But over the years she has become one of the UK’s leading performers, taking on roles such as Pam from Gavin & Stacey, Mrs Bennett in Pride and Prejudice, and the mother of Omnibus patron Michael Gambon in Dennis Potter’s The Singing Detective.
Alison is a veteran of stage and screen, and was a part of Omnibus's Winter programme in Judy Flynn’s Last Christmas.
