Something a bit different here - actors in the witness box and real-life barristers deserting their chambers to try Hamlet. At Wyndham's Theatre on Sunday 27 November 2016, in aid of the annual Shakespeare Schools Festival.

A bit late perhaps, but maybe Hamlet is going to get his just deserts.

We're about to find out as the Prince of Denmark gets put on trial for the murder of Polonius, Chief Counsellor to the new King and father of his girlfriend Ophelia.

It's all happening at Wyndham's Theatre on Sunday 27th November.

Big name barristers - John Kelsey-Fry QC, Jonathan Laidlaw QC and Ian Winter QC - get to question witnesses, played by a killer cast of actors.

And it's all overseen by Court of Appeal Judge, Lady Justice Hallett, who gets to keep the silks and witnesses in order and on track to bring the trial to some kind of conclusion.

Every ticket sold for this unique event helps fund the annual Shakespeare Schools Festival, which transforms the lives of 30,000 young people nationwide every year, and is now pretty-much in full-swing with over 1000 schools performing Shakespeare in more than 130 professional theatres up and down the UK.
