Theatre closures due to coronavirus outbreak

England is currently in a third national lockdown due to the coronavirus epidemic, so all London theatres are closed to audiences.

The government has not announced firm dates for theatres to open in England, though a suggested date for partial reopening has been given as 17 May 2021, with larger theatres possibly back with full capacity audiences from 21 June.

We update our listings to reflect cancellations and postponements of shows, but we advise checking theatre websites to confirm which shows will be playing in the future.

Synopsis

With COVID-19 leading to the cancellation of many showcases and final year productions, many new graduates have felt disheartened and sidelined.

When the third lockdown came into force, Ameena Hamid Productions and The Grad Fest joined forces to create the largest scale industry spotlight series involving 2020 and 2021 graduates in support of Acting For Others supported by Volt-Productions and Click/Boom Studios.

This series of three streamed concerts filmed live at Cadogan Hall, one of London's most renowned venues, is hosted by Courtney Bowman (SIX, Everybody's Talking About Jamie), Grace Mouat (SIX, & Juliet) and Luke Bayer (Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Fiver, Soho Cinders) and features 40 graduates and a selection of videos from industry faces.

All profits go to Acting for Others.
