Theatre closures due to coronavirus outbreak
England is cautiously moving out of national lockdown due to the coronavirus epidemic, but London theatres remain closed to audiences.
The government has not announced firm dates for theatres to open in England, though a suggested date for indoor performances to restart has been given as 17 May 2021, with capacity restrictions.
Larger theatres may be back with full capacity audiences from 21 June.
London theatres are beginning to announce new show dates and we are updating our listings.
However, we advise checking theatre websites to confirm which shows will be playing in the future.

Synopsis
11pm Millennium Eve: centenarian clown, Scaramouche, breaks fifty years' silence to give his final performance charting a bizarre odyssey through crumbling empires, comic misadventures and the 20th century's darkest episodes, revealing the loves, brutalities, ecstasies and tragedies beneath his seven white masks.
As Scaramouche unveils his life, he takes us on an epic, poetic, profoundly moving voyage.
An enchanting performance of supreme physical and vocal virtuosity, combined with haunting and evocative designs create a world of indelible images, a gloriously story sumptuous told.
Twenty years on from its acclaimed premiere, starring the late, great Pete Postlethwaite, Scaramouche Jones has been produced, performed and translated all over the world.
Olivier-Award winning director Guy Masterson joins forces with the original multi-award winning creative team to create a sublime, unforgettable experience.
