Theatre closures due to coronavirus outbreak
England is currently in a third national lockdown due to the coronavirus epidemic, so all London theatres are closed to audiences.
The government has not announced firm dates for theatres to open in England, though a suggested date for partial reopening has been given as 17 May 2021, with larger theatres possibly back with full capacity audiences from 21 June.
We update our listings to reflect cancellations and postponements of shows, but we advise checking theatre websites to confirm which shows will be playing in the future.

Synopsis
The Road to Prominence celebrates the wonder, craft and journey of black musical theatre artistry over the last 100 years.
From Broadway to the West End, from the 20th to 21st centuries, diverse voices from the African and Caribbean diaspora have birthed a new sound which has both promoted and progressed musical theatre, adding rich cultural layers and eclectic edges to the beloved multidisciplinary artform.
The Road to Prominence features an acclaimed roster of UK talent from the stage and screen celebrating the music of black musical theatre writers, composers and creatives through candid conversations and powerful performances.

The filmed concert is directed by Dominic Powell whose musical Cases is featured in the concert, alongside works such as The Wiz, The Color Purple, Ain't Misbehavin', and Shuffle Along.
The cast includes Zoe Birkett, Adrian Hansel, Waylon Jacobs, Aisha Jawando, Bobby Little, Maiya Quansah Breed, Alex Thomas Smith, Andrew Patrick Walke, and Music Director Sean Green.
