Theatres and coronavirus
From Monday 19 July, theatres in London are allowed to operate without capacity limits.
And all legal restrictions imposed by the government will be removed.
However, most theatres will still be following procedures such as electronic ticketing etc and may require masks to be worn.
Note that some performances have been cancelled where cast or staff have tested positive and need to isolate.
We advise checking theatre websites for the latest information and what you can expect when visiting.

Following the success of two YV Unpacked tours - which saw professionally performed productions of Spring Awakening and She Ventures and He Wins performed in community venues in Lambeth and Southwark including prisons, elderly care homes, homeless shelters, and rehabilitation centres - Taking Part will tour Love Reign to similar locations in our local boroughs where theatre is not usually performed, from 4 -15 October.
The show will then be performed in our Maria theatre from 18 - 23 October.
This year marks the first time Taking Part has toured an original piece of work as part of YV Unpacked, making work for new audiences that puts them at the centre.
Love Reign, written by Shereen Jasmin Phillips and directed by Stef O'Driscoll, is an eclectic piece of new writing that centres on a fusion of narrative & music to create a live storytelling experience.
At its core Love Reign is a love letter to friendships, how we begin them, how we honour them and how we preserve them against all odds in our lives.
This exhilarating show encapsulates the joyful expression of friendship delicately underscored by a live soulful house soundtrack.
This is theatre you can vibe to.
