General

The Almeida Theatre aims to be as accessible as possible. There are a range of assisted performances throughout the year. Asssitance dogs are welcome in the auditorium - request an aisle seat when you book. Alternatively, staff are happy to dog sit.

Wheelchair access

The accessible toilet can be accessed via ramp. Disabled customers may use the box office phone to arrange a pick up or call a taxi, or alternatively may ask a member of staff to do this. Sliding glass door (operated by push button) at entrance, and a ramp provides access to toilets and auditorium (stalls). No lift to the circle.

Visual assistance

Audio described performances are available throughout the year - check website for schedule.

Hearing assistance

Induction loop in the box office for hearing aid users. Infrared hearing system in the main auditorium - collect headsets from the kiosk in the foyer. Hearing dogs welcome in the auditorium - request an aisle seat when you book.
