Access information
General
The Access telephone number is the box office number. If you are taking your assistance dog to the theatre, tell the box office so that seating with suitable access can be arranged. Free car park with spaces for 13 blue badge holders and for 4 brown badge holders.
Wheelchair access
Wheelchair access to the theatre foyer is via a ramp to the right of the main entrance and through a set of automated doors. Once in the foyer, there is level access to the bar, coffee shop, patio and disabled toilet. Entrance to the auditorium is via ramped corridors on both the Box Office and Bar sides of the foyer. Most of the seating within the auditorium is of the traditional raked amphitheatre style with steps to each row. The upper seating and steps are steep and without handrails - if you have mobility difficulties you may wish to avoid this area. Wheelchair users are accommodated in up to 8 licensed spaces, 4 each side of the front rows, adjacent to ramped emergency exits. Additional seating is provided next to these spaces for a companion.
Visual assistance
Pre-performance tours of the stage and set for patrons with visual impairments can be organised for individuals or small groups. Contact the theatre in advance to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Hearing assistance
The auditorium has an Induction Loop System. For details of Signed Performances, contact the Box Office or check the theatre's website for schedule.
