Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-Winning American classic To Kill a Mockingbird is, arguably, one of the world's most famous books.
Published in 1960, the writer's debut novel was an immediate and massive success.
It won the Pulitzer Prize in 1961 and quickly became a global phenomenon.
Widely recognised as a classic of American literature, the novel has never been out of print since its original publication (you can find more details about the book and its plot here).
A new stage adaptation by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Bartlett Sher is heading to London's Gielgud Theatre from May next year - .
