A new website has launched for streaming pre-recorded theatre performances from Ed Fringe, Vault Festival and theatres across the UK and the world.
Founded by Aydan Wilder (theatre director and filmmaker) and Vibes Art Studios, this website was launched to help new and emerging theatre artists reach new audiences during these difficult times.
Since the UK was hit by COVID-19, many theatres and festivals have had to close their doors, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and this initiative was thought-up to bring theatre directly to audience's homes and to support artists who unfortunately no longer have the chance to perform their work live.
The website features a range of professionally-filmed productions, including one-woman shows, musicals, operas, dramas, comedians and more!
Shows are available free to stream with the option to donate to the website and the theatre artists, with 90% of all donations going to the artists and only 10% kept for the running of the festival and the website.
Find the schedule for upcoming shows and links to watch online here.
