Having made an open call for submissions in the latter part of last year, the selections have now been made and the Yard Theatre's festival of live performance is about to take off.

The Yard has partnered five of the brightest new voices with five of the most inspiring and influential artists of today to form week long double-bills of daring and unapologetically new live performances.

This year’s festival includes work from award-winning theatre makers including Emma Frankland, Dog Kennel Hill Project, Ira Brand, Jude Christian and Chris Goode with his avant-garde performance boy band, Ponyboy Curtis.

The festival runs from 10 May to to 11 June 2016 and it has tickets at just £12 for a double bill of shows - and cheaper for multi-buys.
