Live, covid-secure performance will return to the Lion & Unicorn Theatre from September 30 with some brand-new work and some old favourites.
The Lion & Unicorn Theatre has announced plans to reopen for live performances once again from 30 September.
A brand-new season of work will be announced shortly, led by Critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe show The Man by Patrick McPherson, which will open performances at the theatre from 30 September to 2 October.

Artistic director, David Brady, said ...
"After such a tough 6 months for our industry and the amazing theatre makers we are privileged to work with, it's such a joy to be able to reopen The Lion & Unicorn Theatre as we continue in our work to create a destination fringe theatre venue for London.
We've got some really exciting plans coming up, and we're more determined than ever to continue to be a bit of a beacon of hope that theatre, and fringe theatre in particular can and will return better than ever before."
As with other venues that have started or are about to restart performances, the Lion & Unicorn will be adhering to govenrment guidelines with social distancing, regular cleaning and reduced audience capacity the order of the day.
Tickets must be booked online and in advance in allocated groups and the Duty Management team will be on site to look after you throughout your visit.
Face coverings will also be mandatory in the theatre while performances are ongoing.
The theatre is also open for covid-secure rehearsal bookings, workshops, filming, photography and other uses of the space on very favourable rates for emerging theatre companies.
And the theatre has also reopened its submissions procedure which means that, if you've got a show, a burning idea, or want some support to get your work made, you can get in touch to discuss your project via the venue's website
