A Night of Hope
London theatre news: Saturday 2 July 2016
Charity - Fund raising
Good Chance established a theatre in the Jungle refugee camp in Calais last year, now they need your help to raise funds to do more and are holding a fundraiser in the Spiegeltent at London Wonderground on 4 July 2016.
After establishing a theatre in the Jungle refugee camp in Calais last year, Good Chance ran a space promoting freedom of expression, creativity and dignity in a situation where this was constantly under threat.
It became the civic and cultural centre of the camp, and a powerful voice in the international conversation about the refugee crisis and the nature of our response.
Now they want to do more!
Stephen Daldry, Chair of Good Chance & Quintessentially Foundation, invites you to A NIGHT OF HOPE!
Join him for a unique and inspiring night of performances from some of Good Chance's biggest supporters, alongside incredible artists from around the world, as they raise funds and awareness to continue this vital work.
With special guests including Cate Blanchett, Songhoy Blues, Steve Coogan, Toby Jones, Tom Odell and many more to be revealed!
Go along to hear the story of Good Chance for yourself, and help tell the next one.
One night of hope will become many.
In a situation that is so clouded with difficulty, this is our chance to find a positive way forward for the crisis we all face.
Everyone deserves a good chance!
