Time to get dates in your diary for the UK's original and largest festival of horror in the performing arts which once again returns to London, this time in its new home at the Old Red Lion Theatre.

Scaring the living daylights out of audiences since its inception in 2011, the London Horror Festival is a celebration of the ghoulish, the thrilling and the downright macabre performing arts.

This year's festival runs from the 10 to 30 October 2016, and the organisers are still on the lookout for new acts, performers, directors and volunteers.

They are also running a short play competition - 3 selected plays will be staged by a professional cast and crew at The Old Red Lion.

If you're interested in any of these opportunities, visit the festival's website for details and an application pack!

The full line-up of shows to be presented during the festival will be announced in September.
