London Fringe - Shows
Proforca Theatre Company will be getting back into action with a brand-new, and somewhat mysterious run of performances this November.

'AAAAA' (FIVEA) is a new show from Proforca Theatre Company which will be heading to the reopened Lion & Unicorn Theatre from 10 to 22 November 2020 (with press night on the 12th).
Details about the show are somewhat thin on the ground and no further details about the production will be released before performances commence.
The aim, apparently, is to "re-capture the mystery, tension and anticipation of the return of live fringe theatre" according to the publicity for the show.
But we are promised a continuation of Proforca's tradition of emotional storytelling, presenting great characters for audiences to fall in love with, championing new fringe theatre talent and a great new concept developed by a partnership of creatives drawn from the Associate Artists programme at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town.
David Brady, artistic director of The Lion & Unicorn Theatre, said ...
"I'm genuinely so excited about presenting a show where the audience know very little about the story prior to the show starting and where as a result of it's concept, no performances of 'AAAAA' will be alike.
Our hope is that we re-claim some of the mystery and radical excitement of fringe theatre storytelling as well as rewarding people for their patience and support with a great new story and some big surprises after six long months of lockdown."
There's also a novel element to the show's pricing strategy where you can "Pay What You Feel".
It's the first time at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre where tickets are being offered on this basis for all performances.
However, you can also support live theatre by donating to the venue's Crowdfunder via the #SaveOurTheatres campaign - you can make a donation here.
