Casting - Off-West End - Shows

The cast is announced for Kevin Elyot’s award-winning comedy My Night with Reg, due at The Turbine Theatre from 7 July.

Kevin Elyot's My Night with Reg premiered at the Royal Court Theatre back in 1994 and won the Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy in the same year.


It also went on to win the Olivier Award for Best Comedy in 1995 and the Olivier Award for Best revival in 2015.


Now, the play is getting another revival, this time at The Turbine Theatre from 7 July to 21 August.


This latest version is directed by Matt Ryan who has just announced the cast.


Paul Keating will play Guy with Gerard McCarthy as Daniel, Stephen K Amos as Benny, Alan Turkington as Bernie, Edward M Corrie as John and James Bradwell taking the role of Eric.

Synopsis


Set in Guy's London flat, old friends and new gather to party through the night.


This is the summer of 1985 and, for Guy and his circle, the world is about to change forever, thanks to the mounting AIDS crisis.


This award winning comedy captures the fragility of friendship, happiness and life itself.
