About ActDrop

Hi, there!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting us today.

ActDrop is a website devoted to London theatre.

With a dedicated team, we provide a one-stop experience for our visitors to keep up-to-date with everything that's happening in one of the world's great theatre cities.

Here are some brief details of what you'll find on ActDrop ...

Theatre listings

We have detailed listings for around 200 theatres spread right across greater London.

Our listings cover theatres based in London's famous West End, theatres that are located Off-West End and smaller fringe theatres as well as big well-known theatres such as the National Theatre.

All our theatre listings have contact details and addresses, social media links, accessibility information as well as links to the theatre's current and upcoming shows.

Show listings

At any time, we usually have details for around 600-700 current and upcoming shows - more than any other theatre listing site.

At peak times, like the festive season and in the first 2 or 3 months of the year, we might have over 750 shows listed, giving you unrivalled choice of great shows to see.

Our detailed listings cover every type of show imaginable - from drama, comedy and musicals to experimental pieces - and include all the information you might need about the show including ticket prices, theatre address and travel info as well as the cast and creative team.

And our database now has well over 10,000 shows which have played (or are due) at London theatres.

Reviews

We have highly experienced, professional reviewers who review shows every week right across the city.

You'll find our latest reviews here..

We also like to encourage theatre criticism, so we publish reviews from our visitors too.

You can send us your review of a show using on this page where you'll also find some helpful information.

We also keep a list of upcoming press nights - the often glamorous occasions where shows get their 'opening night'.

News

London's theatre scene is dynamic and fast-changing.

So we write regular news items to keep you abreast of developments.

Among the various topics we cover are show openings, casting announcements, awards, and much else besides.

Festivals and other theatre events

There's a lot more happening in London theatres than just shows.

Theatres regularly hold events like scratch-nights, discussions and talks, quiz nights, workshops and much more.

So we carry a list of other events being held at the theatres we list.

London hosts a number of theatre festivals during the year which we also list.

And, though we don't yet list theatres and shows outside London, we do list theatre festivals in other parts of the UK so they can be enjoyed by theatre-goers from London and beyond.

Tickets

All our show listings contain links to buy tickets.

In most cases, we link directly to the theatre's ticketing system and this helps our visitors to get tickets quickly and helps theatres sell tickets for their productions.

For some shows - like the ones in the West End - we link to our ticketing site where you'll find discounted tickets for popular musicals, drama and comedy and other shows, often at discounted prices, some starting below £20.

You'll find our ticketing site here.

For theatres, companies and PR Agents

We welcome information about new shows coming to London as well as details about other events that are being organised by theatres and production companies.

And we're always ready to write news items about shows, casting, special events etc as well as add show trailers to our listings and trailer page.

If you're a PR Agent, theatre company or theatre manager please contact us using this special page where you can send us details of your shows or any other news you'd like us to share with our visitors.
