Devil You Know Theatre Company presents a thrilling new version of one of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies, charting the bloody rise and downfall of the legendary warrior Macbeth.
The production will play at the Bussey Building in Peckham from 31 October to 18 November 2017 and will be directed by Paul Tomlinson.
The play is set in a future dystopian world after a global nuclear apocalypse where civilisation and technology has been obliterated.
Life has restarted but society and humanity have reverted.
Survivors have forged weapons and primitive forts from scavaging what is left and face a daily fight for survival.
This brutal landscape presents an evocative setting for one of Shakespeare's most violent and chillingly evil plays.
It's a brutal world where every man and every clan must fight for what they have.
A perfect setting for one of Shakespeare's most thrilling, violent and chillingly evil plays.

The Bussey Building
The Bussey Building is a 120-year-old multi-level warehouse space run by The CLF (The Chronic Love Foundation), a 100% self funded commercial humanitarian arts and entertainment company.
A former cricket bat factory in Peckham, south London, the venue was put on the London cultural map in 2011 when the Royal Court Theatre built the theatre and had a residency, staging highly successful shows including The Westbridge by Rachel De-lahay.
Since the Royal Court's residency, various award winning shows including Othello Peckham have been staged at the theatre to sell-out audiences.
Works have varied from the up and coming to established writers, producers and directors.
Devil You Know Theatre Company looks to continue this exciting trend.
