In Siofra Dromgoole's Walk Swiftly and With Purpose we meet four girls at a girl's school, following the story of their friendship, as they egg each other on to ever more provocative and precocious behaviour.

They're at an age where their imaginative life has thus far been far more active than their real one - this play looks at what happens when real life intersects, and their disillusionment.

Eve, Lana, Misha and Robbie talk and think about what it is to grow up, what it is to be a woman in the twenty first century, and reflect on their own friendship and the politics of the day.

Directed by Imy Wyatt Corner, and Siofra Dromgoole's debut as a writer, Walk Swiftly and With Purpose will be at Theatre503 from 13 to 17 November, presented by Three Sisters.

After development on North Wall Art Centre's programme for emerging playwrights Catalyst, the play was produced by Three Sisters and taken to the Edinburgh Fringe 2018.

The company was formed by Siofra, Grainne and Cara Dromgoole to find and tell stories which welcome complexity.

Walk Swiftly and With Purpose is the company's first play.

Siofra Dromgoole is currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths, and has been selected to take part in the Royal Court Introduction to Playwriting group in January 2019.

History Boys meets Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour in this new take on the classic coming of age tale.

Meet Eve, Lana, Robbie and Misha - four friends on the cusp of adulthood.

Until now they've lived mostly in their imagination ... suddenly, real life interrupts, and their loyalties are tested.

Provocative, pretentious and playful, the young women reflect upon themselves, their friendship, and what it is to grow up in the twenty-first century.
