New Diorama Theatre Senior Producer, Helen Matravers, said of the lineup ...

"This year's Incoming couldn't be more exciting.

For the first time in the festival's history we have worked with some of the country's leading voices in theatre to curate this incredible line-up.

Their invaluable input meant that we were able to see and get feedback on more shows and companies than ever before, helping NDT and A Younger Theatre to curate a festival which showcases truly exceptional talent."

Incoming Festival co-director Jake Orr said ...

"2019 sees Incoming working with our new partner, Tobacco Factory Theatres, Bristol, as well as returning to HOME in Manchester and New Diorama, London.

We're thrilled to be bringing more of the best companies to some of our favourite cities.

This year's lineup is our best yet, and continues in our mission to present more outstanding emerging theatre at accessible prices to more audiences."

In a radical shake-up of the programming model, Incoming Festival invited Lyn Gardner, Fergus Morgan (The Stage), the editorial team of Exeunt magazine and Critics of Colour to select the shows they would like to programme as part of the festival.

Co-directors David Byrne, Jake Orr and Eleanor Turney have programmed the remaining work, with two further shows to be announced from NSDF.

As well as the line-up of emerging companies, a series of workshops by some of the best theatre companies will be presented, all accessible at £3.

Workshops will be announced in April.
