Award-winning production, The Witch's Mark, written and directed by Timothy N. Evers, transfers from Vault Festival 2017 for a short run at The Space from 18 to 22 July 2017.

Direct from a sell-out run at Vault Festival 2017, The Witch's Mark is a new play written and directed by award-winning playwright Timothy N. Evers.
Winner of Festival Spirit Award 2017 at Vault Festival, The Witch's Mark is presented by Over The Limit and forms part of their Celtic Season currently touring the UK.
The Witch's Mark tells the true story of one woman's resistance against the dark forces determined to destroy her.
Based on historical and contemporary accounts of the Scottish witch trials, The Witch's Mark blends contemporary storytelling with Shakespearian tragedy.

About the Playwright
Timothy N. Evers is an award-winning playwright and actor originally from Houston, Texas.
He received the ‘Best New Play of 2015' award from the Houston Press for his THE WHALE; OR, MOBY-DICK, which was produced by Horse Head Theatre Company.
His adaptations of Christopher Marlowe's DOCTOR FAUSTUS and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's THE SPECKLED BAND: AN ADVENTURE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES were both produced by Classical Theatre Company.
In the summer of 2013, he created BOOFNITZ: A CLOWN SHOW for the Into the New festival at the Arches, Glasgow.
As an actor, Timothy has performed with the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh; Texas Repertory Theatre Company; Houston Grand Opera; Divergence Vocal Theatre; Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company; Nova Arts Project; and the Alley Theatre.
Timothy earned a MA degree in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland; during which time he spent a month's residency at Shakespeare's Globe in London.
He is currently pursuing a MFA degree in Creative Producing at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
About The Company
Over The Limit were formed in 2015 by Joseph Cullen and Oran Doyle with the aim of reimagining the stories and tales of the forgotten person.
Male or female, alive or dead, fact or fiction, they seek to bring them to life on stage.
Through vivid new writing, contemporary original scores and dramatic stagecraft, Over The Limit aim to give a voice to those that have been forgotten in the midst of time.
Central to Over The Limit's ethos is the promotion of new and emerging talent in London and their productions have seen them work with alumni from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, LAMDA, Rose Bruford, and Bird College to create exciting original work.
Over The Limit's inaugural production, GENTLE TIM, premiered at VAULT 2016 and has since gone on to be developed for a full length production with runs programmed across the country.
