Cinema screenings

Bille Piper's 'spellbinding', award-winning performance in Yerma gets an NT Live cinema screening on 31 August 2017, with international screenings from 21 September.

Currently playing at the Young Vic theatre until the end of this month, Simon Stone's radical production of Federico García Lorca's 1934 masterpiece gets the NT Live treatment with a cinema broadcast on 31 August 2017.

Billie Piper reprises her 2016 Evening Standard Best Actress award-winning role which helped the production garner numerous 5 star reviews from the critics.

It's again playing to sell-out houses at the Young Vic, so this broadcast may well be your only chance to catch the play if you haven't already seen it.

Synopsis

A young woman is driven to the unthinkable by her desperate desire to have a child.

Set in contemporary London, Billie Piper's portrayal of a woman in her thirties desperate to conceive builds with elemental force to a staggering, shocking, climax.
