Synopsis


When brilliant African American student Keesha first meets white Professor Carpenter, she's excited by the prospect of learning political philosophy from the famous older man.


But as she becomes romantically involved with his graduate assistant and becomes closer to Carpenter, she begins to wonder if he's actively working to thwart her academic and political ambitions.


The play explores themes of racism, politics and the effects of aging and provides a thought-provoking insight into the state of the USA today.
