Background

Alan Ayckbourn's comic masterpiece consists of three interconnecting plays, Table Manners, Living Together and Round and Round the Garden.

All three take place over the same Summer weekend, in the same house but from a different perspective - the dining room, the living room and the garden.

Each play is complete in itself and can be watched individually.

See two plays in any order and observe how different rooms throw up new and exciting perspectives.

But be warned, watch all three to complete the puzzle and you will want to see them all again!

After the venue's sold-out rehearsed reading of Way Upstream, this production marks the second part of the Tower Theatre's celebration of Sir Alan Ayckbourn's 80th birthday year.

Synopsis

Annie has arranged to spend an illicit weekend with her sister Ruth's husband Norman, and for this reason has asked her elder brother Reg and his wife Sarah to look after the house and their widowed mother.

It is generally assumed by all that Annie ought to pair off with neighbour Tom, but her attempts to communicate this to him never seem to penetrate.

And the one consistent ambition throughout the weekend is that of assistant librarian Norman's attempts to seduce all three women.
