About the festival

Following the success of the inaugural Almeida For Free during the run of Hamlet in 2017, the free festival for those aged 25 and under will return this April. 

Running from Tuesday 3 - Thursday 5 April, the festival includes three performances of Tennessee Williams' powerful play Summer and Smoke, directed by Rebecca Frecknall with free tickets available exclusively to 25s and under.

In addition to the play, Almeida for Free will be jam-packed with free music and theatre performances, late night cabaret, panel debates and exclusive masterclasses with creative professionals.

Don't miss this three day festival as the entire Almeida Theatre building and café bar is dedicated to young people.
