About Above The Stag Theatre

Above The Stag Theatre was founded in 2008 by Peter Bull, who remains its Artistic Director.

The theatre is an award-winning fringe theatre in London with a focus on producing LGBT-themed theatre including new writing, musicals and revivals.

It is the only full-time professional LGBT theatre in the UK, and has two theatres - a 110 seat main house and a 60 seat studio.

The new building opened on 1 June 2018.
